So I've come to learn that my right foot is composed of 75% lead and 25% dumbass...

On my way to work again, driving my dad's intrepid so my car wouldn't get rained on (new paint on my car)  -- got clocked at 65 in a 45 going South on Coltrane...  Screw that.  There is an image burnt into my head... that's the image of lookin back, seeing the rotating blue/red/white lights, all within the halo of my rear view mirror.

Well, I had Ropes class this morning... also known as "Project S.P.I.R.I.T."  with the "eagleQUEST Challenge Course"  

It was alright... for the first 3 hours we played a series of 6 or 7 games that involved communication with one another, working with each other and all this other spoon fed stuff.  Still a little fun I suppose, but a bit gay.  For the next 3 hours we did the challenge course... pretty much went like this -- ya grabbed a partner and then...

Me: "Belay on"

Partner: "Climb on"

Then you would climb up, do the obstacle, 'bout 15 feet high.  Then right next to it was the next obstacle.... so....

Me: "Ready to Transfer"

So, I clipped the next belay on....

Me: "Transfer Complete"

Partner: "Show me"  (Pulled both belays in opposite direction)

Partner: "Squeeze me" (Squeezed both belays to make sure they were locked)

Partner: "Transfer Complete" (Move the hell on with the next section)

I thought it was interesting, yet pretty... "official" and gay sounding to me... way too repetative... however, they're just avoiding a injury/death lawsuit. (thanks Mack)

On a Better note... Car got back from the shop, and it looks as good as new, even better with all the small dings repaired... just gotta wait for the new paint to cure before I wash it...  Bad thing is, the took a fender off, placed it in my perfect passenger seat, and made a 3 inch deep scratch in the leather, as well as 4 or 5 little scratches and dimples on the bottom of the seat...  we'll see what I can do about that....

I wanna play some poker this weekend, who's game?

2005 Hyundai Elantra

Seriously, rental cars rule.  So far, I've driven the following rentals:  2003 cavalier, 2004 Civic 4dr, 2004 Accord 4dr, 2005 Hyundai Elantra, 2002 Ford Taurus.

Out of all of them, the Hyundai has been the most fun, it has a glorious E-Brake  combined with a pretty light rear end... that equals a ton of fun, most of which has already been had in the past couple of days, especially with the rain.  180's, 360's, ramping the kickingbird Theater intrances, playin with the tranny all the time,  and redlining each gear has been nothing but joy.

 That about sums it up for now... I will probably go on an OSU College visit tomorrow, we'll see.  ---- We'll end this entry with a picture of....

Just my luck...

Well guys, not just the right side is damaged, the left side is also.  Guy backed into it about 2 hours ago while I was in the theater watching a movie... left my car at Kyle's house and had Anne carpool us all up there... BAD CHOICE!  My hopes, dreams, and passion of my car have come to an extreme halt this week, with both a deer and a truck crushing my poor little sexy piece of metal. 

Going to the body shop yet again to get another quote for the guy's insurance...  Considering the deer hit quote damage quote was $3100, I suspect this one to be over $4500... sad sad days for me... I'm depressed.  All I've worked for... getting shoved down the drain...

Well, yesterday started off great.  I had just gotten my shift knob on on Monday, and followed up with replacing my "H" badges with "S" badges... No these aren't "Type R" badges... the "S" stands for the "S" in S2000 - pics below...

And then...

All Deer Go to Hell.

Last night a deer T-Boned me, that's right... the S2K, T-boned.... by a deer.

Driving home at 8:00pm down sorghum mill between boulevard & bryant...  65mph, deer decides to run out into the street at the exact second I pass his path.  Didn't see him until he smashed into the side of my car, it was unavoidable... deer ran into me, I didn't run into the deer.  Corbin and I both had the same thing happen!  Knocked off my passenger side mirror, denting all three passenger side fenders, along with the steel A-Pillar around the windshield.

This game (located in the Tilt at Quail Springs mall) is freaking AWESOME.  Josh and I play it a ton now... and of course we drive the cars we do in real life.  S2000 for me and Integra (Type R) for Joshers.  Extremely competitive racing!  Speaking of Josh...

Different course this time, as it always is...  I happened to like the last set up better, but this one was still GREAT fun!  Times were good!  It was Andrew Snide's first time to race and he did really good also! 

This weekend was great!  Played 3 tournaments of Poker...  yea didn't win any of them, but I got close on the first one! 

Not much goin on -- my next post will be on Sunday... after the NEXT AUTOCROSS!!

Anyways, I've got court tomorrow morning for my speeding ticket I got a while ago... lost the ticket, and forgot my lawyer's name.  -- Don't worry, the lawyer comes with our insurance plan... it's not like we payed for it separately!!  It's a Pre-Paid Legal thing...

Wish me luck... stupid ho gave me 11mph over instead of 10mph over...

Edit:  Turns out Court was yesterday (the 14th) and I missed it... so I'll apologize to my lawyer and reschedule for the 28th...  I need to write my dates down!

Hey all...

Nothin much is goin on... Allergies suck, probably the first time I've REALLY ever had them.  Sorry for everyone that has 'em!

Problems with the job at Target... Well, they didn't schedule me all week this week... even after I ask them for 20hrs a week.  I'm open every week day evening and morning and evening on the weekends too.  I'm sure they all think "Oh, well Troy, he's got a nice car as a teenager, he doesn't need any money, no!" - Given my nickname is "Trust Fund" at work, quite hilarious. --They've called me in twice this week, last Sunday night and today.  I didn't come in though... I need the money to pay off my stuff but right now they can just deal with not having the extra help if they're not going to schedule me.  Sorry 'bout the rant.

Friday is the North/Santa Fe football game!  Daaang that's gonna be awesome...
